Portable Appliance Testing
All electrical appliances that are fitted with a 3 pin domestic plug amongst others are required to be tested on an annual basis to ensure that they are safe for employees and the public to use. Failure to comply can result in prosecution and carries a maximum penalty of £5000 and up to 6 months imprisonment. Our engineers carry out the tests in accordance with the IEE Code of Practise for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Wayne was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in his installation of our fire and intruder alarm systems. When we ran into a couple of unexpected challenges, he thought up a couple of creative solutions to keep on time and budget! He was also great in some after installation care, as he took the time to answer any questions we had and helped us out when we had a few issues with the equipment. After using another company for several years at Bramshott Parish Club and them not meeting our needs, being completely unreliable and overpriced, I decided to reach out to WDT. On the engineer's first visit, he quickly discovered we were not complain and some of our fire extinguishers were unchecked and out of date, with a whole bunch of other issues that had been missed. After discussing what was needed, we were given a very reasonably priced quote to put things right. We had a visit from the fire inspector shortly after, I am happy to say that due to WDT this is the first time we have passed on everything.
